Bob Broman, Winemaker

Bob Broman has more than three decades of experience as a winemaker for several highly-regarded California wineries. With a deeply rooted passion for winemaking, Bob aims to produce good value wines that are approachable and consistent. Bob likes to make, and enjoy, wines that pair with a wide variety of foods, or can stand on their own.  Crafting wines for Cecchetti Wine Company marks the third time Bob has worked with Roy Cecchetti. Bob sources fruit from across California's diverse wine regions, allowing him to experiment with various blends and varietals. His blending and winemaking skills have not gone unnoticed. He has received numerous awards including several "Best Buys" distinctions from Wine Spectator, Wine Enthusiast, and Wine & Spirits, as well as a "Best Red Wine of the Year" at the 1999 International Wine Challenge in London.  Bob has held winemaking duties at Napa Valley wineries including Round Hill Winery, St. Supéry Vineyards & Winery, and Stag's Leap Wine Cellars, as well as Livermore Valley's Concannon Vineyard. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Enology from U.C. Davis.
